    good show

by Joel E Dee on 4/23/24River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Brick can was good; the event venue was sufficient, it was crowded at times but manageable, and most importantly the sculptures were very impressive. However, I felt it was a bit underwhelming as I didn't know what to expect. My expectations were higher I suppose, I thought it was going to be bigger spectacle with massive sculptures, but it was more like a local art show. It was affordable, so that explains the modest sized spectacle.

    Fantastic Legos, customer experience lacking

by klr on 5/16/23River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

I went to this event with my partner and we really enjoyed looking at all the legos. I loved seeing the variety of Lego (big and small) and particularly enjoyed the Canadian themed legos, and Harry Potter Lego of course. However, I am disappointed with the organisation and layout of the event. Firstly, I understand you want to sell as many tickets as possible, and having time slots was a great idea, but in my opinion there were too many people. I felt packed in like sardines. Maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad if there was a one-way system, but unfortunately, it was a free-for-all and it felt chaotic for adults and kids to be moving backwards and forwards and crowding in areas. People from left and right trying to force their way to the front. For me, the customer experience wasn’t well thought out. I definitely did not see all the Lego I wanted to for this reason.

Too crowded! Too many people per time slot. Displays were disappointing.

    Great Family Experience

by Greg B on 4/25/23River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

My first time attending BrickCan in Vancouver. The event was great! So many fantastic Lego displays! We were all in awe in the creativity and imagination these builders had. My kids had a fantastic time. Will definitely come back next year!

May 4 - Brick Can Lego

by Suzi on 5/7/19River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

we - Grandsons 5 and 7yrs - went to the 2pm-4pm time slot of Brick Can. Totally well organized and since it was our first time, we were all gob smacked at the creations. Absolutely jaw dropping and the boys were mesmerized and excited too. This was a good age for them. Younger kids had a tough time, but 7 and up it's perfect. We'll go again next year.

    Lego Fun

by Unit09 on 4/24/18River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Had a great time went last year and will be going again next year. The displays were well done and gave me some good building ideas. Also the vendors had a very good selection of new and old Lego products. I was a able to find some Lego parts I needed for my own collection.

    Imaginative Lego Show

by Mech2017 on 4/26/17River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

This exhibit was particularly great for showing peoples creative works of art and the near limitless capabilities of Legos. Great for kids. The viewing fee is a little high.

Should be free to get in.....or reduce cost to $5

by XMcG on 4/25/17River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

I have been to the original BrickCon in Seattle and BrickCan is still a ways away from being comparable. The timed tickets were annoying, we (among with many others) had to exchange our tickets due to the fact that we came after our original time slot. The process was painful. All that effort to get get in and the displays were just OK and there were not many vendors. The vendors that were there were selling mostly new (not discontinued) Lego. Didn't find any cool discontinued sets like we did in Seattle. I won't be back to this event, it just isn't worth it.
