    Brian Blade is an exceptional and spiritual human being as well as one of the more gifted musicians on the planet. His Fellowship Band graced the stage of the Bagdad Theater Saturday night as part of two concerts benefiting the Portland Rescue Mission. The show itself was phenomenal! Brian Blade writes very spiritual and moving jazz, as well as classic driving bebop jazz that would make Art Blakey proud. All in all, an unforgettable night of great music for a good cause.
