About

BREAK SCIENCE IN CONCERT:

Rising electronic duo Break Science has become a festival favorite with their genre-defying sound and live instrument-oriented performances. At their epic live shows the duo deftly combines electronic and organic elements to brilliant effect -- Borahm Lee's masterful manipulation of music software Ableton Live is the perfect counterpoint to Adam Deitch's jazz-influenced drumming, and the result is a potent blend of hip hop, dubstep, and breakbeat. The pair have stated that their goal is to "create the future of music", and concertgoers lucky enough to see them perform "Brain Reaction" and "Trapeze" on tour will get a first-hand taste of what tomorrow sounds like.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Break Science is comprised of producer/keyboardist Borahm Lee and drummer Adam Deitch, two New York-based musicians who joined forces in the early '00s after bonding over their love of the city's vibrant hip hop heritage. They quickly forged a unique livetronica sound that combined live instrumentation with electronic production, and before long they were racking up plays on Soundcloud with popular mixes and remixes. In 2012 they released the Monolith Code EP, an auspicious debut that earned praise from critics for its creative blend of genres and next-level production. They followed up in 2013 with the album Seven Bridges, which featured appearances by hip hop legend Redman and Boston-based funk army Lettuce. Acclaimed live performers who have rocked fans at the biggest festivals from Bonnaroo to Pemberton, Break Science has ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming shows.
