Brantley is an inspiration who’s used his personal struggles to create the musical sensation he was meant to be. After crashing his truck while drunk when he was 19, he used the experience to motivate himself to sober up and embrace his gifts for songwriting, singing and guitar playing. Brantley began working on his first album, Modern DayProdigal Sonshortly afterwards; it was released in 2009 under the Average Joe Entertainment label. Brantley released two albums under Average Joe before signing with Big Machines Records. He has gone on tour with country music notables such as Willie Nelson as well as performing on his own. His talent attracted fellow country music superstar Jason Aldean, who hired him to write a song or two. Aldean has since collaborated with Brantley on at least three best-selling tunes.
