About

BORN OF OSIRIS IN CONCERT:

For more than a decade, hard-hitting deathcore band Born of Osiris has been blowing minds and melting faces with their technically complex brand of metal. The group's incredibly intricate compositions feature all the djent metal trappings fans expect -- razor-sharp palm mutes, insane syncopation, virtuosic soloing -- and they execute their songs with mathematical precision at their spine-tingling live shows. Whether they're hurling savage screams on "Bow Down" or getting fans thrashing with the guitar-laden maelstrom of "Machine", Born of Osiris always deliver an adrenaline-filled concert experience full of decibel-shattering metalcore gold.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born of Osiris formed in the suburbs of Chicago in 2003 and quickly made a name for themselves in the city's metal scene. They performed under a variety of names in the mid-'00s including Diminished and Rosecrance before settling on Born of Osiris -- a nod to the Egyptian god of the afterlife -- in 2007. Their 2009 debut album A Higher Place planted them firmly on the metal map, cracking the Top 10 of both the Indie and Hard Rock charts and leading to a string of festival appearances including the Summer Slaughter and Music as a Weapon tours. Their 2011 follow-up album The Discovery was a similar success, peaking at No. 6 on the Hard Rock Chart and drawing the band out for another big tour. In 2013 the band released their third album Tomorrow We Die Alive, reaching No. 3 on the Hard Rock chart -- their highest position to date -- before hitting the road for another round of high-octane performances.

    Awesome!

    by OWL70 on 5/16/22Minglewood Hall - Memphis

Going to this event was a present to myself for surviving a challenging year of teaching English composition. I enjoyed the small venue and loved being in the energy that a metal concert generates. Born of Osiris put on a phenomenal show. I’m so glad that I went!

    Facemelting Concert

by Dustin on 11/8/21Wally's Pub - Hampton

Despite technical difficulties at the venue, the band Signs Of The Swarm put forth their best effort and were in good spirits throughout their set. Overall the concert was highly enjoyable. My wife had a great time even though she’s not much of a fan of this genre. She thoroughly enjoyed Born Of Osiris and noted they were amazing. Wally’s is a cool venue to be up close with your favorite musicians. Definitely would make it out there again in the future.

    Tiny Venue but enjoyable!

by Jessie on 3/17/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Entering was a breeze even though it was raining heavily. I had ticketmaster send me a ticket in the mail, at least it felt kind of water proof. The line to get in early was not long, though the concert became very "thick" after the fact. Nice merchandise at a general price. The venue feels really small at least in the room it was in. There was a bit of space to move around in until it got really crowded by 7 p.m. The concert kind of started earlier than expected but thats okay. The one group I came for (Make Them Suffer) was amazing as always. The main act (Born of Osiris) felt so much shorter than the rest and felt very underwhelming but luckily I didn't come for them so I did not really care. Virtually everything was disability / wheelchair accessible! I am proud of the Baltimore soundstage for that. Not that I currently use a wheelchair but its something to definitely note. All of the workers there seemed really cool and like they were enjoying their job for the most part. If I had to redo going to this concert at this venue in my life, I would do it all over again!

    Kiddie Show

    by J. on 3/15/19Rex Theater - Pittsburgh

I didn't realize these bands would draw all kids. Stayed for the first band and bailed. Disappointing, but probably my bad for not realizing what the crowd would be.

    Sore Neck, Good Memories

by DeathSocks on 3/7/19Baltimore Soundstage - Baltimore

Fantastic lineup and performances. BOO performed even with their drummer breaking his hand. The guys from Chelsea Grin just tore the place apart. Fun and simple venue. Parking on site.

    Lit🔥

by Trae on 3/4/19The Masquerade - Atlanta

The Masquerade is one of my favorite venues. The dark concrete underground look of the "Masquerade" brings out a vibe of comfort to enjoy meeting new people. With tickets at a reasonable price rate. As always they did not disappoint in booking bands that really know how to amp up the crowd. I will say that though the drink's are good and well mixed, they tend to be well over priced. I come there regularly and personally suggest maybe having a "VIP Club" that is a monthly or yearly subscription cost. This could cover a fast track into the venue, earlier entrance, discount to the bar, and maybe even ticket discounts. Just a suggestion. But as far as the concert itself. The band's that played really had a way of amplifying the crowds vibe to let loose and just rock. That is just what I did. I look forward to seeing these bands again and of course future shows at the "Masquerade". Keep doing what you love and Rock on!!! 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻 - Trae
