My only real complaint bis that Lattimore was on the bill but never made it to the stage. No explanation was given.

by bluasdac on 7/23/18White Oak Amphitheatre at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroWe thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at the Gate City Soul Festival. With the amphitheater being on the small side it was nice to see these guys perform and interact with the crowd. The weather was good, our seats were in plain view of the stage and sound was good. The only knock we had on the show was maybe they should have let Tucka start the show. Pokey Bear had it jumpin and the vibe slowed all the way down when he came on next. Also, my man Clarence Cater, the legend he is didn't sound as strong as he maybe once was. All in all, we would go again if they brought the show back.

by Anonymous on 7/23/18White Oak Amphitheatre at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex - GreensboroExcellent Acts - Never thought I would complain about the length of a show but this dragged on a little too long. Also the MCee (I think was the promoter) was terrible. Rude, foul language, didn’t know how to keep the audience engaged - it was all about himself and filling the high ticket seats. Bring back Tucka,Pokey and Sir Charles and it will sell out!!
