    Ricky Skaggs was Unforgettable

    by tdud16 on 7/29/18Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Ricky Skaggs played for 3 hours. He only stopped for a 15 intermission. His wife and daughter joined him to sing acoustically and included the audience in a few gospel songs at the end. It was also a sold out venue!!!!

    Great venue, great music

    by Ryman12347 on 7/15/18Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Great venue, not nearly as crowded as other shows at Ryman. Also nice that people don’t stand so you can sit and enjoy the music. My only complaint is the warm up bands. Of the three shows so far there have been two shows with warmup bands. I wish they’d tell you if there was going to be one beforehand so we wouldn’t rush to get there. Also it makes the shows get over too late. I know others may enjoy them and don’t care how late the shows end, I’d rather just see the headliners and not have to wait through the warm up band. The first one ‘Billy Strings’ was talented but they just jammed for over an hour and everything sounded the same. It just didn’t fit with Del Mccoury band which is tight and well rehearsed.

    everything we wished for

by ksmart on 7/23/10Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Wow! We were expecting greatness and were blown away. Better than we expected! I cannot believe an 86 year old man can move his fingers that fast.

    Dailey and Vincent

by Artcaptain on 7/16/10Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

My wife and I attended this concert in Nashville last night and I had never heard or even seen this group before but loving bluegrass, we decided to take a peek at their show. It truly was one of the best evenings we have had on the bluegrass trail. Bluegrass music is truly up and coming and making a huge transformation much like country music did. And Dailey and Vincent "entertain" while playing some of the best music at the same time. The young, the old, the in-between ages of folks were giving repeated standing ovations all night! And their opening act, the Quebe Sisters from Fort Worth, TX. was simply amazing too! We plan to go see this group anytime our schedule permits!!! If you have not heard them, DO IT!!!

    Vince is the best!

by dollydo on 6/25/10Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Saw Vince Gill last night at The Ryman; he was awesome, along with an all-star band. Loved the show. Vince keeps you entertained and laughing thru out his shows. Never a dull moment.
