by SuzieMM on 7/16/13Bowery Ballroom - New YorkI went to check Black Taxi out without really knowing much about them based on a friend's recommendation. Holy smokes, amazing! Bill the guitarist is especially talented, and Ezra the lead singer is just a big ball of energy and super fun to watch. I try really hard not to compare bands to other bands but I remember thinking at one point that they sounded like a mix between INXS and Prince. Great band chemistry and awesome fans just made it a really enjoyable show. I will never miss another local Black Taxi show, I'm really looking forward to the next one.

by jayne13 on 2/13/12Mercury Lounge - New YorkBlack Taxi never disappoints - after a cd release tour that had them traveling to Florida, NOLA, Texas, Chicago and a slew of other cities in between, back in their hometown they rocked the Mercury Lounge to a sold out crowd!! Their energy is as intense and it is infectious . . . awesome, awesome show!!
