Black Girl Speaks was awesome! I really enjoyed every aspect of the show. It is appropriate for 'girls' of all ages and men as well. There was a dynamic about the show that left me wanting to see more. It was my first time seeing the show so I did not know what to expect but by the end of the night I had laughed, cried, and yelled out SPEAK to my surprise. Great show! Tell everyone to go see it. We need more of this in our community.

by AudreyClarke on 2/21/11USF Theatre 1 - TampaThis show was so powerful. It was so moving and on point to every "Black Girl" and every girl, woman, boy or man. I was shocked at times, almost moved to tears, and wanted to stand up and shout at other times. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone. Every young girl should experience this performance. I have been singing its praises since Saturday night. Keep the movement going. There were so many truths intertwined throughout. God bless.

by ShaunMcNicholas on 2/21/11USF Theatre 1 - TampaYou hit so many issues that our family can both relate to, laugh at, and despise! We hope the honesty helps people to talk about things, learn from the past, and change the future! Thank you for the honesty and vulnerability that it takes to leave your heart on the stage! I would love for my with and I to have a chance to share our own story with you - you would have a plethora of new material!!!

by Jackie454 on 2/21/11USF Theatre 1 - TampaWe spent about an hour searching for this small hidden location that had very tiny sinage and no directions on the tickets, website or route to the venue. So yes, we missed the first hour. BUT... When we arrived, we walked into a wonderful show, that made us laugh, cry, sing and be amazed at the talent of these beautiful 4 women. The show tells the truth and makes you laugh at yourself, think about your life, want to be better, know more and feel more connected to people.
