Directions
DIRECTIONS: Directly off of I-20/59 to Birmingham via the 22nd Street exit. Turn left. Turn right on 8th Ave North. The Museum is on the Right at 8th Ave North and 21st Street.FROM HUNTSVILLE/MONTGOMERY: Take I-65 South to I-20/59 East toward Atlanta. Exit on 17th St and turn Left at stoplight. The Museum is 4 blocks ahead on the left.
FROM TUSCALOOSA: Take I-20/59 East and exit on 17th St. The Museum is 4 blocks ahead on the left.
FROM ATLANTA: Take I-20 West to Birmingham. Exit on 22nd St. and turn left. Turn right on 8th Ave North and the Museum Sits on the right.
FROM GADSDEN: Take I-59 South to Birmingham and exit on 22nd St. The Museum is on the Right.
Parking
Parking is available in the Museum lot off Richard Arrington Boulevard, in the nearby Boutwell Parking deck and in public parking along 9th Ave North.Museum lot is free of charge for museum visitors. Parking deck fee is $3-$4. Onstreet Parking is .25-$2.00.
