About

BERLIN IN CONCERT:

LA new wave favorites Berlin rose to international acclaim in the early '80s with a string of synth-laden hits anchored by Terri Nunn's powerful voice and charismatic persona. Three decades later, Nunn and co. sound as fresh as ever, flooring fans with razor-sharp, infinitely cool renditions of classics like "The Metro" and "No More Words." As stylish today as they were in the '80s, Berlin is sure to take fans' breath away on their upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in LA in 1978, Berlin got an initial boost when their early single "Sex (I'm A...)" was banned by several radio stations for its graphic lyrics — a move that only heightened the band's popularity with fans. Their gold-selling 1982 debut album Pleasure Victim added to their risquè reputation, establishing them as one of new wave's biggest bands with hits like "The Metro" and "Masquerade." 1984's Love Life was a similar success, boasting the dance floor-ready "No More Words," but it was the 1986 release of Count 3 & Pray that launched them to the apex of their fame. Lead single "Take My Breath Away" was featured in 1986 blockbuster Top Gun, propelling the album to the top of charts around the world and earning the band an Academy Award for Best Original Song. A consummate live act renowned for Nunn's seductive stage presence, Berlin gives fans much to look forward to as they hit the road on an upcoming tour.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Terri is unreal, her voice is outstanding. This venue cannot contain her voice nor can the speakers."

"So much fun and Terri still brings it, just as enthusiastic and energetic as ever. She seems to not age. Still the BOMB!"

"Terri Nunn is amazing!!! Her voice is incredible. I would see them play again and again!"

Loved seeing Berlin and Boy Toy!

by Genny on 12/28/23Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - Auburn

I really enjoyed watching the show of Berlin and their opening act Boy Toy. The venue was great, the sound was good, and there was not a bad seat in the house. I only wish the line for drinks was a little faster. It took up almost the whole intermission, and I missed out on Berlin merch.

Holiday concert with Berlin that I have secretly admired but had never seen in concert The band delivers hits and a few of their favorite songs from other bands as well! Such a wonderfully entertaining time with such a nostalgic band!

by Teri on 12/24/23Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - Auburn

The show itself was amazing!! Berlin killed as they always do! ❤️ the venue, it was SO hot in there! No air seemed to be circulating at all & the chairs were right on top of each other.

    Great show!

by Michael on 12/24/23Muckleshoot Casino Events Center - Auburn

I had a GREAT time at this concert! Terri, John, and the band were all in top form and sounded better than ever. I’m so glad I got to sit in the very middle of the front row where I could really take in all the action. The best part was when Terri hopped down off of the stage and walked through the crowd during a cover of The Cult’s, “She Sells Sanctuary”—she ended up dancing with some fans about five feet away from me! They’re a great, high energy, fan-friendly band that DOES NOT disappoint! If you get the chance, go check ‘em out!

    Sounded great

    by rograbt on 10/3/23

We were excited to see the band for the first time. They did not disappoint. The Letting It Go tour included Howard Jones and Culture Club and all 3 acts sounded amazing. It was even better when Terri came up the lane of the auditorium on our side singing the cover of, She Sells Sanctuary.

    Sad about the shortened setlist

    by Dutch on 7/31/23

Unfortunately, a storm delayed the show for like 40min, so Berlin, who we mainly came to see, had to shorten their setlist to only 4 songs. While those songs were absolutely stellar and the group showed they certainly still had it, 4 songs does not a good time make. We know it’s not their fault, but we’ve been waiting for them to come to the east coast for so long we are pretty disappointed about it. Please come back Berlin!

Not the best venue but excellent show!

by SS on 9/30/22Bally's Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe

The showroom wasn’t tiered much so it’s difficult to see the stage if you’re not right in front. Terri Nunn & Berlin were excellent though!

    Awesome Show

by C. M. on 9/25/22Bally's Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe

Berlin was awesome. The venue was great, seating quite nice. The rooms at Ballys were a little pricey. Did I mention the music was excellent? It was. Can't wait for Berlin to come back locally/

Great Show for 80's Music Lovers

by TCoupe on 9/20/22Bally's Lake Tahoe - South Lake Tahoe

Terri Nunn hasn't lost it, sings well, looks great! The band was awesome. Just wish they played a full two sets rather than one set of and hour and fifteen minutes. Hence 4 stars and not 5.
