Belinda Carlisle returns to Australia with Special Guests
Pseudo Echo
Australian Tour 2016

Belinda Carlisle returns to Australia in February 2016 for a national run of concerts with Australian 80s iconic band Pseudo Echo. Belinda Carlisle has never stopped performing and has toured Australia numerous times to sold out shows. Playing her big solo hits alongside the much loved hits from The Go-Go’s, Belinda Carlisle one of the biggest solo female artists in the world.

Belinda rise to fame started when The Go-Go’s formed in 1978, and recorded a number of hits including “We Got The Beat” and “Our Lips are Sealed” before breaking up in 1985. At this time Belinda embarked on her hugely successful solo career and released her first solo album in 1986. Her second album “Heaven on Earth” produced the world wide hit “Heaven Is A Place on Earth” which became a number one in both
the US and UK charts and number two on the Australian charts. Another top 10 hit followed with “I Get Weak”.

Belinda continued to dominate the International charts with the 1989 release of  “Runaway Horses” a top 10 album and featured the hit songs “Leave a Light On” and “Summer Rain”. More hits were to come, including the 1996 classic “In Too Deep” showcasing her longevity in the pop music scene. The concert will feature a collection of her biggest and best hits and songs from the past and present.

Joining Belinda Carlisle on tour is Australia’s own Pseudo Echo.  Forming in Melbourne in the early 1980s, Pseudo Echo dominated the charts in the 80s with such big hits like ‘Don’t Go’, “Listening” and “Funky Town”.  Their infectious electronic beats coupled with catchy pop tunes cemented their place in Australia pop music history and their songs continued to be heard on Australian radio to this day.

    Great artist

    by Cindy on 9/3/23

Belinda Carlisle is a great artist. Unfortunately the sound system at the Honda Center is not good and didn’t do her justice, along with the other artists that night. Everyone did a good job, just wish the venue would improve their sound system.

Great show, bar prices are ridiculous.

    by Carlos on 8/30/23

The show itself was fantastic. All the bands were awesome. Drinks at the bar are way overpriced.

    Pure 80's music experience

    by Estefania on 8/30/23

I took my 20 yrs old daughter to see and experience 80's LIVE music with me and with the rest the 80's FANS. Loved Richard Blade being our Announcer andwe had a lot of fun. The suggestion I have would to promote the bands there by playing their other music, especially if you are selling $150 LP , in between bands setting up. The only thing I found weird was the way Belinda walked off the stage, the finale needed more grace. I believe Richard tried to down play it but it was too jarring to a holt.

The best of the 80's, sprinkled with a British flavor

    by Big Rick on 8/30/23

The Honda Center always rocks! Belinda Carlisle was over rated and her sound was distorted, but the rest of the bands were rockin' the house! An impressive, musical trip back to my teenage years. Incredible!

    RUDE

    by Lori B on 8/30/23

She sounded great but she was very rude, she came out did her songs, my girlfriend noticed that she was kind of rude to a couple of her band members and just stormed off the stage at the last note of her last song! never said hello never said thank you never engaged with the audience

    She sounded great

    by breepaul on 8/29/23

She came on stage very late in the evening and we had to get back to our limo before her set was over. She sounded great though. I wish I could have stayed for the remainder of her set. In all the night was packed full of terrific 80's music. I would do this again.

    An amazing chill night!

    by TalkWJohn on 8/29/23

Belinda is the a pitta me of pop and happy music for 65 years old she is still beautiful. She sounds amazing and has a real high energy show. Her music is nothing but fun she doesn't need the Lavish sets and props. I dare you to go see her and not get up and dance. You won't be able to help yourself.

    No Goodbye

    by Tonebud on 8/29/23

This was an 80's live concert. She was the headliner. Her show was great but no Good bye at the end. Like almost she was running of the stage like she was upset or had to go to the bathroom in hurry. Maybe an emergency we don't know. We were a party of eight and we all felt the same. For this she gets 4 stars.

I felt like a kid in the 80s again when I saw Belinda Carlisle. She delivered a nostalgic performance.
