The orchestra sounded a bit tinty which I'm sure was due to the sound system rather than the players. It was an enjoyable play though just not one of the best I've seen for this musical especially for the price per ticket

The main reason is that Belle was not good, and since she is in most of the scenes it ruined them. We did like most of the supporting cast, so it was not a waste of time. I would not recommend this production of Beauty and the Beast. We have seen many musicals and plays in Chicago and we are looking forward to seeing Phantom of the Opera later this year.
