This was my first time at Lambeau field and it was great. There was a lot of rain and two weather delays, which was fine and understandable, but what should have been a 90 minute game was cut to 80 minutes, and the game ended in such a disappointing fashion (cutting off a play) because of it. I would have preferred a a later finish to get the full experience.
I’ve lived in Green Bay for 22 years, I’ve been to countless packer games and was even able to go on the field for a game. But none of that beat this soccer game, I’ve never scene a crowd like this. The atmosphere was insane, the only thing I ask that they do differently is to plan more soccer games at lambeau.
Ticketmaster made the sale very easy. Added tickets to my phone wallet. And our admission into the stadium was seamless. My son and I had a wonderful time at our first professional soccer game.
More security needed to ensure patrons remain in their ticketed areas. We were in the second row, but a number of times our view was blocked by groups of people and random individuals with seats nowhere near us.
Biggest takeaway from this game is that I find Lambeau Field to be anti-ADA accessible. I believe that if you have a disability, a temporary injury to hips, knees, ankles, or feet or are under 5'5" you will find it incredibly difficulty to get to and from your seats. Think twice and then again about attending any event at this field.
FC Bayern vs Manchester City Being there in person, watching the match and the quality of play was incredible!! Why are Packer season ticket holders given pre-sale preference? A Packer stadium announcer for an international football match. Embarrassing. Where's the FC Bayern and Manchester City merchandise? Still waiting for the replays. The end of game whistle. Again embarrassing. Not a high school soccer game. Packers need to do their homework and get people in place that know something about international football matches.
The event was quite festive and friendly. All we needed was for the weather to co-operate
We were in row 5. Many people from rows above came down and crowded us. Many stood in the stairs. No ushers. Disorganized.
Poorly handled. The game should have been moved up earlier or to Sunday. You spend alot of money on tickets and hotels to have the game shortened when they had plenty of time to play.
It was unfortunate that there were thunderstorms that evening and we had evacuate the stands twice during the evening. Other than that, it was an amazing game and an exciting evening.!! I enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope that Lambeau Field is able to host other professional international soccer games. It brought a lot of revenue into the brown county area.
