    Great Show

by RPArtsFan on 11/29/10Florida Theatre Jacksonville - Jacksonville

I enjoyed the show, the dances are great and performers are fantastic. Although, I would prefer to see longer dances of those dances in the first and last segments of the show (like Maglalatik, Bangko, Tinikling, etc)

I was very pleased with the performances, I had seen their past performances and this one had new numbers in it. I particularily liked the underwater scene and the artist portrayal. The singing and dancing were nice and the costumes were beautiful as usual. My only disappointment was that there weren't enough young people in the audience to enjoy their own cultural heritage. It a shame that they will lose what they don't know about. It is natural to assimilate the culture of the country you live in but for heavens sake don't lose your parents and grandparents cultural.

The performers and entire crew did an excellent presentation. My whole family including my grandaughter loved the show. It showed the history of the country and educate the children who have not exposed to the Philippines. The costumes are superb. The show is different from the last time they came in the city. New presentations and everything is fantastic.

    A1

by KKsLula on 11/22/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

All the female members of our Filipino American family attended this gala event at the FOX Atlanta Theatre the 9th of November this year. We were highly entertained and awe struck with the richness of culture and talent of the folkdance troupe. We left with satisfaction and pride, knowing we belong to a people whose history and heritage live on with beauty and grace.

    Just OK

by Godol on 11/22/10BERGEN PERFORMING ARTS CENTER - Englewood

The dancing was enjoyable but not professional. The dancers were rarely in synchronization giving it an amateurish look. Both my wife and I felt like we were going to a high school dance recital. The Filipinos in the audience loved it immensely, so who am I to judge.

I thought that the concept was nice. I would have prefered to have going to an earlier showing because it was a school night.

Fabulous Exhibition by the Bayanihan Philippine Co

by KiraDancing on 11/15/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

Knowing the history of the area and the cultural influences from colonization was important in understanding the presentation as a whole. The imaginative ways that everyday life was explored through dance was especially exciting. Everything from the costuming to the set was well thought out and executed. I enjoyed the performance immensely!

    An Entertaining Cultural Event

by SushimanSho on 11/15/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - Atlanta

It was a pleasure to share this event with my family and friends (and our local community). The level of dance & music was a joyous expression of history, art and love of people & country.

Nice evening out. Show was not overly long and was a good family event. Not recommended for young children.
