We enjoyed the Family event. only disappointment was I think the map on Ticketmaster was a bit off with the location of the ice at the park. I would recommend sitting higher to see things better.
awesome, great experience for fans and teams! hope they do it again sometime. Omaha was great and ameritrade was perfect.
The ice might have goten a little slushy in the first game, but its the usually not 50 degrees in febuary! Had a great time, one of a kind experience!
Love outdoor hockey! Even with the problems with the ice and the late start, it was an awesome event. Great game and a great atmosphere. Should be a regular on the schedule.
overpriced for the hockey and way too far away from ice to see even the puck. the rink should have been brought in much closer to the stands. there was plenty of room to bring it in or change the angle of the rink.
We had a great time! Nice weather......so nice there was a delay to refreeze the ice! We just tailgated longer!!!
Event was cold and poorly attended. The hockey rink could barely be seen from the seats. To make matters worse the bottled beer was 8 dollars. The 2nd game was delayed 2 hours so we has to miss it. We didn't want to stay in the blistering cold for a night game!
The Battles on Ice were UNBELIEVABLE. I had a blast watching two hockey games in a new outdoor venue. I was really disappointed at the attendance numbers, especially with the locals. There is no reason North Dakota fans should have out numbered UNO fans almost 3 or 4 to 1. The OSC really dropped the ball on that and unfortunately they probably won't get a shot at redemption. All that being said thank you to all the North Dakota fans that made the trip. Hope you thought it was worth it.

The venue was good - the event would need some tweaking but overall a 10. Of course our team won so that plays into it as well. But the planners did as much as they could with what they had to work with and it was great. Would go again in a heart beat. The area is fun with all the shops and places to eat and drink. Great time. 10+ I hope they can do it again.
