IT WAS A GREAT BALLET!!! I BROUGHT MY THREE GRANDDAUGHTER'S TO SEE THEIR VERY FIRST BALLET. THEY REALLY ENJOYED IT!! I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THIS A TRADITION.
My 5 year old granddaughter loved it and wants to go back next year and my 12 year old neice would love to dance in the ballet. There was never a dull moment.
A unique, south Louisiana take on the classic Nutcracker. This performance delights year after year. It's truly amazing how the directors are able to take children from so many various ballet studios and create a flawless show. The show is the perfect combination of seasoned talent and innocent children who may be new to dance. It captured the spirit of Christmas!
My son was so excited about the nutcracker story this year. thought the bayou twist with children might be fun for him. didn't even use the storyline! It was so far from the story that he fell asleep waiting in anticipation for his favorite parts. Really didn't like it. Not even a little bit!
great talent, lots of effects and my two neices totally enjoyed the show.
The performance was excellent. The audience was invited into the fantasy, by way of confetti canons, snow falling on audience, and so on. Young girls were especially thrilled, but all ages enjoyed the show.
Although my daughters and I have been coming to this event for over twenty years, we are never disappointed. It is always beautiful and brings the holidays to life. Now grandchildren come and it is a joy for them as well. Thank you!
