    Oncenter tribute

by Dano on 10/12/21The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

Show was entertaining. Crowd size was disappointing. Only serving alcoholic beverages til 830 when the show started at 8? Ridiculous. A good time was had by the 6 of us who attended as the music, especially the sax, was very good.

by Tami on 10/11/21The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

What a great show! We were disappointed that there weren’t more people in the seats but all I can say is people missed a wonderful time! So glad we went and will make sure it’s on our calendar next year!

I didn’t go because of the last minute mask mandate.

by The DJ on 10/11/21The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - Syracuse

It’s impossible to enjoy a concert while behind a mask. I will not be attending future events that require them. Since the mandate was imposed after purchasing four tix there should have been a refund allowed.

Wouldn’t go back to Back to Back

    by JDP946 on 9/4/18Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

The lead vocalist, while enthusiastic, didn’t posses the ability to make me believe he was either of the headliners. The back up vocalist was much more talented.

    Elton and Joel Tribute...blah

by aaronoraa on 9/4/18Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

"Elton" came out in sequins and played a pretty mean "piano". It seemed to take him awhile to get going...the opening was a long instrumental medley (too long) before he started singing. Elton was OK for an impersonator. However, the show was boring. The band and "Elton" seemed to just be going through the motions - no life or energy to their show. I think "Elton" may have had energy, the drummer was the best in the band. The guitar/bass players had no life in them whatsoever and drug the performance down. We left after 20 minutes or so. Did not stick around to see "Billy Joel". Another odd thing - I don't think "Elton" was playing a real piano. It looked like someone when to Lowes/Home Depot and got 3 bannister railing posts and painted them white to hold up a plywood frame of fake piano (also painted white) with an electronic key board set into it? I could be wrong, I'm not pianist, but that it looked pretty cheesy and cheap to me.

Benny and the Jet's were simply amazing. Billy Joel was great too, he got the crowd involved and dancing. The mood in the room was amazing, everything was great

    poor impersonations

by itmom98 on 1/24/11Twin River Event Center - Lincoln

The guy that tried to impersonate Elton John was fair. The guy that impersonated Billy Joel was really bad. He had a good band behind him, but didn't sound much like Billy Joel. Good thing Elton and Billy have good songs for them to sing, but impersonations were pretty bad.
