Loved the ease in which we could access the seats of our choice!

NSU vs Augie, women and men

by bowl193 on 1/17/17Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

I have a great seat right behind the NSU bench. The best comment of the night was from the NSU men's coach. He told the referees that they were calling misdemeanors on one end of the floor and felonies on the other end. Classic!

Lady Auggies were fun to watch!

by Faldo on 2/2/16Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls Arena didn't have a bad seat. Lots of fun to see talented college athletes playing a game they all love. A tale of two halves...Mary couldn't miss and play very good defense and Augustana was lost without its top guard. A 15-point halftime deficit was cut to one point with time left in the third quarter, but Augustana missed several shots that would have given them the lead. Finally, the great dishes to 3-point shooters paid off with a one sided run by the Aggies. Sophie Kenney, slowed in the first half by two early foul calls, was running the show and found her teammates under the basket for easy layups making a couple Magic Johnson like passes that got the crowd excited and the team moving in the right direction. Great come back for a comfortable win at home.

Augustana College Vikings Basketball v MSU Moorhea

by rockychris on 2/10/15Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Great game in which both teams played very well. Augie's stars, Jansen and Schilling, really came through with great play in the last few minutes to pull away from a very good opponent. Numbers 2 and 22, both guards, were great players for Morehead. I grew up watching games in the Sioux Falls Arena and was very impressed with its condition and all the Augie trademarks on the floor, walls, etc.

    Augie basketball rocks!

by Augiefan on 2/9/15Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

The 2 games were great & worth the extra money we spent for reserved seating. However, the Arena needs to do a better job in checking tickets before people sit down. We had a group of Northern fans sitting by us for the Girls game who all said they bought general admission tickets but would sit in the reserved seats until they were kicked out. That didn't sit well with me since I paid $27.70 per ticket. They should've been stopped by an Arena employee before they were let onto the floor. Then 2 of the fans were belligerent in yelling at the referees & the Augie players. They cursed a LOT & I had to ask them to be respectful as I had a 9 & 10 year old with me. Which led to a shouting match between myself (a female) & a male Northern fan. My next step was to get security & have them moved to the seats they should've been in, but my kids were so upset I just let it go. Luckily, they moved to GA seating after the girls game. The Arena needs to control the seating better. People were constantly moving anytime someone who paid for the good seats showed up. You shouldn't have to ask someone to move out of the seats that you paid much more money for!

    Augie games were great

by AlonzoM on 11/19/10Sioux Falls Arena - Sioux Falls

Both Augie games were great. The USF students were so classless, even interrupting the national anthem. And that USF guy who looked like a Cher impersonator with the do-rag and the big rings on his fingers. Wow. The PA system was also pretty crazy. Couldn't hear the announcer at all and it kept popping and crackling. But it was a great atmosphere in spite of that.
