Event was well run, very professional, and exciting. Families with children seemed to love it. Some of the announcing could have been clearer (sound system). Personally would have liked to better understand the scoring system on the events that were not just "best time". An interesting afternoon.
It was our first Rodeo, and I would totally recommend this to everyone who love to see some live action. I did gain a lot of respect for the men and women to perform out there and make this their life choice. The animals were amazing to watch as well.
The rodeo was fantastic. Some of the best cowboys & cowgirls in the country. Can't wait until next year so I can go both days.

The rodeo was great! My first one and surely won't be the last! For 1st section tickets, I thought were a little costly BUT WORTH IT!! The variety of different events was great... I will definetly go again and you should too!!
never had been to a rodeo before and I won't go again. The calf roping is horrible. It is very cruel. Absolutely horrible to watch. Steer wresting also is very bad. Saddle bronc and bull riding were good.
This was my daughters (9 & 11) and my husbands first time at a rodeo. They loved it. It helped that I could explain how the scoring was calculated and some details of the different events but even without the inside scoop, they would have still had fun. They are already asking about coming back next year. The only negative was the BBQ cook-off that was promoted with the rodeo was at the opposite end of the boardwalk. Inside scoop-plan to take the Jittney (local mini-bus) back and forth if you don't have time or the desire to walk the entire length of the boardwalk. Only $2.25 per person each way. Well worth it. You can catch the Jittney one block in from the boardwalk.
I took my grandson 18 yrs. old. He kept saying thank you to me for taking him to his first Rodeo. The clowns were very entertaining, and all the cowboys were quite professional , We all had a great time.
The rodeo was great! It's the PA system at Boardwalk Hall that was TERRIBLE! Definitely in need of a new one. The echo made it so that you couldn't hardly understand the announcer & couldn't make out anything the clown was saying. After awhile we had to take a walk because it was giving us a headache. The best part of the show were the bulls. Not one cowboy stayed on for the full 8 seconds & I'd say it was because they have some awesome bulls!
This was our second year to see the AC rodeo and once again it was exciting and fun. well done.
