About

For English metalcore act Asking Alexandria, years of extensive touring paid off in 2013 when their third album From Death to Destiny debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200. Tapped by Korn as a supporting act on their 2013 tour, Asking Alexandria quickly earned a reputation for their amped up live show, resulting in a series of headlining concerts with Sevendust, All That Remains, and others. The band's touring success in 2013 continued an already-successful run on the road – in 2012, fans clamored for tickets for their sold-out club dates in North America and the U.K., which drew praise for their mosh pit-inducing energy. Asking Alexandria's roots go back to 2003, when guitarist Ben Bruce helmed the group's first incarnation in Dubai. In 2008, Bruce returned home to England and formed an entirely new group, while retaining the Asking Alexandria name. After signing with indie label Sumerian, the band released its debut album Stand Up and Scream in 2009, and followed it up in 2011 with Reckless & Relentless, which peaked at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. Asking Alexandria's current lineup includes Bruce, vocalist Danny Worsnop, guitarist Cameron Liddell, bassist Sam Bettley, and drummer James Casells.

    Fantastic experience

by KRN on 4/20/24Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

The venue was absolutely amazing. Parking was a bit of a struggle, but manageable. It was clean and set up well. Drink prices were outrageous, but the drink options were good. Overall, an amazing experience and would definitely return for more concerts !

    AMAZING!

by Marvin on 4/20/24Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Asking Alexandria is a band I have always wanted to see ever since I started listening to them back in 8th grade! they’re amazing stage presence and out of this world vocals made the show unforgettable that I even cried as I made my 9hr drive home haha. Not to mention the supporting bands in Memphis May Fire, The Word Alive, and Nerv setting the tone and getting everyone warmed up for an amazing night!

Venue is not the best. Bands were great (for the most part)

by BlackWolf on 4/19/24House of Blues Myrtle Beach - North Myrtle Beach

Not really a fan of the House of Blues in N. Myrtle Beach. The stage is way to high (at 5-1/2 ft or so) for such a small venue, I have to crane my neck just to watch the show from the GA Pit. I realize they can't "rebuild"the stage, but it never should have been built that high in the first place. NERV, The Word Alive, and Memphis May Fire ROCKED though! We couldn't stay to see Asking Alexandria, and they don't really seem to interact that well with their fans from what I've seen (we've done a M&G with them before). MMF on the other hand, really engages with their fans, and they're very personable and outgoing! Love them!

Amazing lineup at such a beautiful venue

by Emeritus on 4/18/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

So I will start by praising all four bands! NERV, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire absolutely were all extremely impressive and all 4 bands are extremely talented. Asking Alexandria the headliner was obviously outstanding, however I do feel the sound tech and systems were having a lot of malfunctioning parts. The start of show they called for batteries because the microphone was dead and there were a lot of times on all 4 performances most noticeable during Asking but also quite prominent in TWA. Thank you guys for overcoming these issues professionally but it did take away from the power in the experience. Additionally there are a few people at the venue breaking rules and becoming far too inebriated that should have been removed but were not. I understand as everyone pays for the experience we are all entitled within reasonable accommodation to enjoy the entire show. That being said some people are going to forget the whole thing anyway from being too intoxicated and belong in a drunk tank for the safety of others. Overall amazing show great concert fabulous experience just a little too tightly packed and a notice of issues with equipment!

    Amazing show from every band

by Rachel on 4/17/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

NERV, The Word Alive, Memphis May Fire, and Asking Alexandria all put on amazing shows. The first two I’d never heard of before am definitely a fan of now, and Memphis May Fire and asking Alexandria were just as good as I was hoping they’d be.

    Excellent show!

by Herbwv on 4/17/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

All the bands were excellent. They all fit together well. My only issue is the sound in the Fillmore. It took Asking Alexandria a few songs to get right. I was very pleased with the show all the bands put forth.

    Good show, okay venue

by Karls on 4/15/24Aztec Theatre - San Antonio

I thought the show they put on was great. However, there were not enough security guards to handle the crowd surfers, as a few people fell straight on the ground with no one to catch them. It was also strange how the GA floor was split into 2 sections
