by bandjammer on 5/6/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoAfter having directed the pit for many musicals, this was a treat. All aspects of the show were great. I loved the interplay between the actors. Anything Goes is extremely line-driven. Someone was sets up a punch line over and over during the show. It is very funny. The whole show takes place on a ship heading from the USA to England. Lots of laughs and unfortunate situations! The star of the show had a phenomenal voice. She belted out all of the songs with gusto. I would definitely go see this show again.

by jetmechone on 5/6/13Cadillac Palace - ChicagoActing - Wow! Tap dancing - Thriling. Singing - Wonderful. Overall this musical was one of the best i've ever seen. The female lead had a strong, very pleasant voice and could dance with the best hoofers ever. She tap danced for 10 minutes along with the entire company and then sang and was not out of breath. Really a talented lead. As you can tell. I genuinely enjoyed Anything Goes. The whole show was great.
