by Ardawurst on 9/15/18Gramercy Theatre - New YorkAngra is an awesome band that could have died several times but it didn’t - through the efforts of Rafael Bittencourt. The current line up is excellent and their first album together - Omni - is an absolute must. I’ve been following them since the early days (1995) and I can say the magic still operates today. Glad I went. The meet and greet was awesome as well. They’re very approachable and friendly.

Probably one of the only US shows in the past 10 years. Surprised it didn't sell out. Crowd was polite and there was plenty of room at the rail that wasn't mosh pit. Fans were singing along to everything and Angra was very energetic! There was a small meet-and greet afterward with autograph signing.

It was such a dream come true for me to see them live for the first time. I've been a fan of the band for years, so this was a great experience, and one I'll never forget. The venue also gave you a chance to get photos and autographs with them after the show which was so great! The Gothic Knights were superb performers as well. I didn't know them going into this, but I definitely know them now. Venue was also great. Waiters came to you so you didn't have to lose your placing to get new drinks. Everyone was super friendly, and it was a nice intimate space. Overall, I had absolutely nothing to complain about at the end of the night. It was just simply perfect.
