About

ANDY VELO IN CONCERT:

As one of country music's hottest up-and-coming artists, Andy Velo is winning over crowds with rollicking live performances that never fail to get concertgoers on their feet. The Georgia-born, Nashville-based crooner blends classic country and Southern rock to fantastic effect, and his catchy tunes have drawn comparisons to artists like Trace Adkins and Toby Keith (both of whom he's shared festival stages with). In concert Velo's contagious energy and swoon-worthy charisma are hard to top, and his feel-good performances of crowd favorites like "Southern Thing" and "I Can't Wait To Tap That" are quickly  making him one of country's most fun live acts.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Andy Velo was born in Suwanee, GA and taught himself to play the guitar when he was 15. Inspired by country greats like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Tim McGraw, he relocated to Nashville at 18 to pursue music full time. In 2009 he played alongside Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, and Jimmy Wayne on Paisley's American Saturday Night Tour, and later that year he scored a sponsorship deal with bourbon whiskey giant Jim Beam. In 2010 he signed a deal with Worn Soul Entertainment and released his first radio single "Hank It Up". He's since built a loyal following playing at festivals and fairs across the country. In 2012 Velo released his self-titled debut EP, featuring the single "Southern Thing", and embarked on a tour before returning to the studio to prepare his sophomore effort. The result was 2014's Blue Collar Cruise EP, a critically acclaimed collection that he shared with fans on a nationwide tour with fellow country rocker Corey Smith.

    KidRock was no SHOW

by Joethebetterrocker on 3/7/11Wild Bills - Duluth

KidRock was no SHOW and the no re-entry was a real surprise and disappointment! I got there early and show started late. Could not get out or had to pay to return. I will NOT return to Wild Bills ever. Although hats off to the ladys they were really sweet.
