Pete Rose should have a go fund me page instead

by Anonymous on 9/26/18F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-Barre

The description of this event was so enticing. Multimedia event with baseball stories... This was such a disappointment! These tickets were purchased as a 50th birthday gift. My husband, who is a huge baseball fan, and a former Pete Rose fan, was not impressed. This was a huge disappointment!

    Petey Is The Man !!

by Colbain on 9/17/18The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

Wow, what an evening !! Pete was hilarious, with his stories, and his remembrances. A warning to the sensitive sort, though...Pete is not PC. He's real, and he doesn't care what others think. My respect for him has only grown.

    AWESOME

by rwmarriner on 9/17/18The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

An evening with Pete Rose was everything I expected to be. I bought VIP tickets, so I got to meet him in person with an autographed pic and a photo-op...it was great. As far as the show goes I had 3rd row center seats, and Mr Rose was wonderful. He spun great tales about himself other team mates and the game in general, past and present. He then let the audience ask questions and I even got ask one.. Overall I thought the show was well worth the price of admission...the greatest overall baseball player to put on a uniform....PERIOD!!!

    This was an amazing Experience!!

    by RedsFan18 on 4/8/18Victory Theatre - Evansville

The venue was great, not really a bad seat in the house. Pete was very personable with the crowd and the stories he told were amazing. I could have sat there for at least 2 more hours listening to him talk.

by Bobran on 4/4/18Victory Theatre - Evansville

Bought tickets for husband, son & son-n-law. They all thought it was a fun & funny presentation. Felt like Mr Baseball was very genuine/authentic w stories shared. Would certainly recommend for sport fans

Pete Rose event not for everybody

by Anonymous on 4/3/18Victory Theatre - Evansville

I took my 9 year old grandson who was pretty excited about it after we watched Charlie Hustle video clips. I should have looked into it beforehand. It wasn't a kid-friendly event. I know there's nothing politically correct with Pete and I'm fine with that but the coarse language was disappointing. He didn't drop the f-bomb but he said about everything else.

    Great storyteller, what a personality!

by classicpcs on 7/19/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

An evening with Pete Rose was awesome and since it was All-Star weekend that made it more special. The stories were entertaining and funny. Two things that would have made it better. One, I wished it had a better flow for instance start at the beginning of his career and move along with stories chronological. Plus show more highlights in between him talking. Two, because it was AllStar weekend I would have liked to see some surprise visitors like Bench, Perez etc... Overall we enjoyed the evening he spoke for about an hour and half.

    REALLY disappointed

    by Dotti22 on 7/15/15Taft Theatre - Cincinnati

Bought $125 VIP tickets for my husbands birthday gift which included a "meet and greet" and a picture. After waiting in the theater "will call" area for 45 minutes, we were told there would be NO autographs...and, if you did have something for Pete to sign, you had to either take it back to your car or store it with the theater! We were then ushered into the lobby, where we had to wait (single file, against the wall) for 15 more minutes. Then we were taken to the room to meet Pete Rose. He sat in a chair, you sat beside him, had someone in line take your picture with your own camera, and then you left!! Once we left, at a concession stand they were SELLING autographed baseballs and photos! Have to say our seats were good but were folding chairs, very close together. Pete was terrific on stage. Whether he had told those stories once or a hundred times, he was charming and enthusiastic. Bottom line...save your money. Order your tickets early and get a seat in the 3rd row for considerably less money. Take a camera and get some good pictures of Pete on stage
