    AM & I Fight nightr

by ldmurra on 12/5/09HP Pavilion At San Jose - San Jose

The entire fight card was well matched and very competitive. I've been to some where too many inexperienced fighters were used and I felt like I was watching amateur hour.

    All Five Had Fun

by RjPlace on 12/5/09HP Pavilion At San Jose - San Jose

Wonderful event and really exciting to watch. Took a small group to see the fights and everyone had a great time. The location was clean and well managed, the people took time to assist with your needs. Thanks for the great evening.

    fights were short

by JoeMaMas on 12/5/09HP Pavilion At San Jose - San Jose

There were only five fights, three of them for only 4 rounds. The pre championship fight was scheduled for ten rounds, but was stopped after five, I'm not really sure why as there was no explanation given by the ring announcer. No one in the audience knew why, we could speculate, but it would have been nice to get an offical explanation. The quality of fighters was good, however a little longer fights would have shown their talent and stamina better. It's fun to have a raffle, only wish they gave away more stuff (hats, t-shirts, etc).

    Don't Expect Much

by RTee on 10/27/09HP Pavilion - San Jose

Attended my first AM&I fight this summer and my advice to boxing fans out there would be to go to the AM&I website and CHECK THE FIGHT CARD BEFORE BUYING! While I appreciate the need for professional fighters just starting out to get some experience, the card was chock full of inexperienced (and largely poor) fighters. Of the first 4 bouts (of 7 on the card), the fighters had a combined experience of 15 fights among them. There were lots of 0-1-1 versus 0-2-0 type matches. The last three fights weren't much better. After watching a few very amateurish bouts, I got the distinct feeling that many of the fighers were pressed to go pro a bit early (but I have no info to substantiate that). My advice is to check the fight card first, then decide how much you'd be willing to pay BEFORE picking your seats. You'll likely be happier with your experience that way.

Fight Night at the Tank was great fun!!!!

by Rikena on 9/15/09HP Pavilion At San Jose - San Jose

American Metal & Iron Fight Night At the Tank was a grea event. Would definitely do it all over again. You get to see some good prospects in boxing. "The Ghost" Guerrero was in attendance and that was cool. The seats are great and the money was about right for the seats we got. All fights were exciting plus they added an amateur fight in the begining that was good fun. All in all an excellent experience let's do it again!!!!
