Great original routines by all the skaters! One of the best skating shows I have ever been to! I only hope it comes back to IZOD next year! Thanks everyone that made this show possible!
Great to have hall of famers with up and coming. It would have been nice if ice seats were available and VIP opportunity.
I use to skate as a teenager - small competitions, carnivals, shows etc. So those who skaters were the ones I knew or I had seen often. It was nice to see that they are still skating, giving back etc. It was nice to see a few of to-day's stars. It was disappointing to see how few people were there - 4000 in the audience. It was a Wed. night - a school night, cold etc. Because of the day and time I feel it would be much better to have the legends on a Sat. or Sun. in the afternoon. The older people are the ones who remember the legends but rather not go out in the evenings. Thus, I believe that people to-day want to see the young and rising stars. Wspecially with the Olympics in 2 months.
Very good performances overall, couldn't get good pictures with camera, but still stayed for the entire performance.
The event was great overall. Wish some of the figure skaters such as Tara lipinski and Sasha Cohen performed.
This show was well worth the top $ tickets I paid for for the front row. The price was worth it just to see the fabulous Paul Wylie skate a modified version of his 1992 Olympic long program! I also love watching Adam Rippon skate in person. The only things missing that would have made this a 5-star event for me were Jeremy Abbott and Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Would have also loved to have seen the ever-awesome Debi Thomas and Michelle Kwan, even if they hadn't skated. :)
The show featured so many former champions and up and coming champions who made the night a total delight. Seeing all the former champions from all the way back to 1948 was a thrill.
It was awesome to see so many wonderful talented skaters in one place! The ones that skated did an amazing job. We were a little disappointed that Kristie, Sasha, Tara And Scott didn't skate - they are some of our favorites. We were not to far from where Scotty performed his 1st two songs from the audience which was also cool.
This was a truly special opportunity to see most of figure skating's Olympic gold & silver medalists along side of the new generation of Olympic hopefuls. We saw legends take the ice: Roslynn Sumners & Linda Fratianne skated together w/a surprise appearance from Brian Boitano!! Dick Bullton & Tenley Albright gave wonderful introductions & Scott Hamilton joked that he couldn't believe it's been 30 years since his gold medal!! There was great skating from our hopefuls, who we may not only see at the 2014 Games, but could win medals as well: Ashley Wagner, Max Aaron, Gracie Gold, Castelli/Schnapir (pairs), Chock/Bates (dance), & Agnes Zawadski. As an extra bonus, speed skating greats Bonnie Blair & Dan Jansen as well as "Miracle on Ice" goalie Jim Craig made appearances!!! It was an amazing event!!!
This was first ice show I saw in person so that made it enjoyable. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the limited amount of skating actually done. In the promo material, lots of skaters were listed, but many simply served as announcers. I truly was hoping to see more of the skaters of the 80's actually on the ice. Also, the 20 minute intermission seemed way too long. I hope that it was predominantly because of the need to clean the ice.
