    A Good Effort

by Music Lover on 3/3/19Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

The 9 piece band was fine. The vocalists put in a lot of effort singing and dancing and the voices were generally good. The issue was the patter back and forth which just did not work. It is hard to make 40s humor work unless you have someone with great timing and delivery. The merchandise pitch at the end of the 1st Act was disturbing. It was long with a religious aspect to it. It was done respectfully, but 10 minutes felt incredibly long. That was obvious by the number of people getting up for intermission. These tickets were not expensive and in this case we got what we paid for.

The best show I've seen in decades!

by Phil on 3/3/19Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

Four fantastically talented singer/dancers accompanied by a sterling 9 piece orchestra had us bouncing out of our seats while teaching us a patriotic lesson in our nation's history! Well done "All Hands On Deck"!

Christmas gift for my 88 yr old mom

    by B. K. on 3/3/19Parker Playhouse - Ft Lauderdale

My mom was thrilled! She said it brought back so many memories and has told everyone she knows how much she enjoyed it. The audience was very engaged, especially the second act. I was moved by how the ensemble honored the service men and women in the audience. I left with a feeling of patriotism as the troupe reminded us of the great country we live in.

    Repetitive

by FTRRIO on 3/30/17Pensacola Saenger Theatre - Pensacola

Seemed to be repetitive in music and script. Needed to change up material more. Players appeared to be trying to hard to make the humor work. Theater ambiance and services were great. Will be back!!!!

We thought this show was wonderful, amazing voices, great teamwork, they seemed like they were having fun. We loved the way they transitioned into the second act, the radio broadcast was very believable, commercials and all! One of our favorite parts was what they did at the end of the show, but I won't give that away!

    friendly suggestions

by Jaytbird on 11/10/13The Peabody Daytona Beach - Daytona Beach

I enjoyed the show but entire time I thought how much better it could have been had they added maybe 2 more members to the 4 person cast in order to have someone backstage changing, etc while 2 out front giving as little variety. At times having the 4 only cast members was a bit repetitious and seemed to get tiring the same singers over and over. In other words would have been nice to vary the voices and actors more as the show was long. We found the lead male whose idea it was to create the show was a bit much personality wise; He reminded us of the lounge lizard character on Saturday Night Live shows in the past. Think he should tone things down a bit. The other three were the best and great voices. Orchestra overpowered the voices when the show got started and even though 5 rows back was difficult to hear the words of the songs. maybe the acoustics? Also, almost no costume changes and the backdrops never changed. Didn't understand this!
