    Wonderful in Wonderland

by Sarah B on 6/21/22The Stanley - Utica

The Stanley Theater is a beautiful venue and the show Alice in Wonderland was beautifully there. I brought my newborn, toddler, teenagers and my mother so I can say ‘it was a show for all ages’ accurately. We all enjoyed ourselves and the show completely. I look forward to another performance soon, as the experience is so beneficial and uplifting. I recommend this to everyone.

    Perfect for my little princess

by Eg on 6/21/22The Stanley - Utica

Fun and fascinating for my 4 year old, it was the perfect way to introduce her to ballet. She's been talking about the performance non stop. She's also been begging to have the synopsis read to her from the program.

    Fabulous Alice

by E. W. on 4/16/22Hoyt Sherman Place - Des Moines

A friend and I attended a production of Alice in Wonderland. We had box seats in the balcony. Pricey but worth it. The ballet was absolutely entertaining in every way. The dancers were all incredible especially the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. I am a little prejudiced since they are my grandchildren. The costumes were beautiful. I am looking forward to their next show.

    Excellent

by FanoftheDance on 6/26/13Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts - Thousand Oaks

I have no affiliation with this dance studio. We saw it on Ticket Master knowing nothing about it and decided to go. It was absolutely wonderful. The full range of beginning to advanced dancers were all well prepared, confident and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I could see the amount of work that went into this production, from choreography to costumes. Well done. I would recommend and attend again.

    Alice in Wonderland

by Jukelady on 6/25/13Scherr Forum-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts - Thousand Oaks

Great performance by the young dancers and of course the lead dancers as well. I was impressed with their precision and the costumes were exquisite. My granddaughters danced all the way home.

Much more beautiful than any mirror I've seen.

by ZhaLysander on 10/24/12Neil Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

Amazing. The story was kept beautifully, and somehow the raw emotion of curiosity was perfectly preserved. The music was unique and a beautiful addition to what I will now and forever remember as Alice In Wonderland. Thank you.

I would go see it again!

by Theatresnob13 on 8/19/12Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

The choreography, costumes, and sets were spellbinding. There were several small children in our surrounding area - and they were engaged throughout the performance, as we were! Bravi to Septine, the company, and to Ballet Hawaii for bringing this to Hawaii.

ALICE in Wonderland costumes were AMAZING!

by Sadie808 on 8/15/12Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

I went to see ALICE with my sister and my 7 year old daughter. The three of us aren't necessarily Alice in Wonderland fans, but we do love ballet and the pictures on the mailings I received made it hard to pass up. So glad we didn't... pass it up! The production was a really whimisical and creative take on this classic story. I couldn't take my eyes off the amazing costumes. I wished the costume designer could have come out to take a bow. Don't get me wrong, the dancers were really great too! Fun ballet for most ages (people, please leave your toddlers and babies at home)!

    Alice (in Wonderland) was amazing!

by HawaiiBalletfan on 8/15/12Neal S Blaisdell Concert Hall - Honolulu

The ballet was wonderful. It appealed to ballet lovers and families with its use of dance to tell the familiar story. Septime Weber, himself, introduced the performance with an homage to Lewis Carroll.

The music was wonderful, but the ballet itself was just so-so. Dancers were not in sync and that was very distracting. There were gems within the performance such as the caterpillar ballet, but overall it was bland. Would have liked to see more technical movements by Alice. Costumes were beautiful.
