Alejandro Fernandez released his 24th album, Confidencias, in 2013, which he recorded in Los Angeles with famed producer Phil Ramone. Guests on the album include Rod Stewart, Christina Aguilera, and his father, iconic Mexican ranchera singer Vicente Fernandez. Alejandro became one of Mexico's biggest international stars in his own right, selling countless tickets with his own brand of romantic Latin pop that pays homage to the ranchera tradition. In concert, he's noted for his soaring vocals and easy stage presence, not to mention his mid-show costume changes when he transitions from traditional songs to pop. His tours are large productions featuring everything from back-up singers to mariachis.
