Aladdin Tickets

Brought my 4yr old granddaughter to this for her birthday. Thought it would be a good way to introduce her to a live stage performance. I have to say it was pretty boring. There was no scenery at all, not even a basic castle or street scene, just a curtain to block off the other half of the theatre. No props except a chair they carried on & off the stage. Definitely took away from the experience. Most of the cast was good although the sound was not great & it was hard to hear them singing especially a very petite Jasmine.. On a good note the costumes were bright & sparkly & the character Shahrazad kept your attention whenever she was on stage. I would say this would maybe be ok for older kids who could appreciate the actual story without needing all the magic that comes with Aladdin's fantasy.

75% of the performance was without narration; the stories were difficult to follow. Entire performance less than an hour, not worth the price of the tickets.
