First, charging $10 to park on the grass is absurd!! It makes for a poor start to a family outing. Second, to have an intermission within 20 minutes of starting the play strictly to boost concession sales is robbery. Kids have a limited attention span to start with and then with all the parents coming back with snacks for the kiddies since there was nothing else to do for the 20 minute break added to the total overall time, the total bill and was a real waste in a play that didn't last much longer than an hour. Third, I can't fault the actors and I won't be critical of their performance. It was obvious that they were trying very hard to do a great job. I give them credit, but the scenery and the overall writing of the play was poor. The beginning of the play lost most people... adults and kids, in that they didn't know much what was happening. The play within a play was poorly developed and should have been eliminated with more emphasis on set and costumes so that kids would be better able to be entertained. It really missed the mark
