Aint Misbehavin Tickets

I remembered this show from when I was a kid and when it came to town, I was able to snag first row seats. As much as I enjoyed my seat, I enjoyed being incorporated into the "Honeysuckle Rose"scene. The male singer/actor took me by the hand, guided me out of my seat, introduced me to the audience, and proceeded to sing and dance with me. He frequently used my name throughout the show so that everyone knew my name when we exited the show. I felt like a mini-celebrity, but that was the highlight of my day and my friend recorded and posted on Facebook. I loved the audience engagement at both the afternoon and evening shows. This show can't be missed. What a time I had! It is definitely a show for the ages. Enjoy because I know you will. I

The show was amazing. The talent highlighted their great voices. The band consisted of great musicians.

so good and entertaining but like they said, not politically correct based on when the songs were written and the play. If we could only go back to those times. Wait, you can by going to see the show. Cast and music were excellent.

No story whatsoever. Just a review of Fats Waller songs. No more ( actually less) than a compendium of songs. Thus success depends solely on the talent of the performers. Perhaps with Nell Carter and Andre de Shields, the show was survivable , but this cast, while adequate were, no more than that. We left at intermission.

Definitely a 5 star performance. Very talented artist. We will come to see this show again and again!!!!!

Hot music and an extremely talented cast!! We loved the interaction with the audience and the camaraderie among the players.

This was my first visit to the Aventura Center for Performing Arts, and I was impressed. The staff was courteous and helpful, the ample theater was comfortable and user-friendly, the bathrooms were immaculately sanitized and maintained--thank you! The artists are vocally seasoned and spectacularly skilled. My only constructive comment would be to improve the quality of stage props and provide artists with era/fashion specific wardrobe--neither of which affected the stellar production. Look forward to attending venue again; what a hidden gem!
