Top notch, ADEMA is back and better than ever

    by NotoriousNick on 12/14/22

I got the chance to see them live in Bristol Tennessee, back in September of 2021. Ryan Shuck is the new front man and is driven to bring this band to heights it hasn't experienced yet. All of the guys are by far some of the most talented and nicest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Some people have claimed different, however Kris Kohls is one of the nicest and down to earth individuals I have ever encountered. I did the VIP with the band and they made the experience worth every penny. I have been a fan since 2001, meeting them 20 years later was like catching up with a bunch of old friends. At the time I was homeless and living out of my car, these guys showed me a level of kindness that I will never forget. They are amazing live and behind the scenes are genuine, humble guys who work their asses off to put on a great performance. Do yourself a favor and check them out, I can't recommend them enough.

Kris Kohls is a deuche bag

by elbubu85 on 5/28/11Brick By Brick - San Diego

kris kohls the drummer from Adema is a total deuche bag! had a great time watching the opening bands and Tim Fluckey from Adema is a great down to earth guy, he was fun to hang out with. however, Kris superstar ego kills the vibe for the band. Never met a musician with such a bitchy attitude towards his fans.

    <3 Adema!!

by LizyM on 1/18/10Whisky - Hollywood

Opening bands were what was expected; however, there were a few bands that really stood out and really rocked. Adema of course is always awesome. I love watching them in small settings like Whisky or the Key Club. They never disappoint!

    ADEMA

    by humbug12211 on 1/15/10Whisky - Hollywood

They never play 1 last song, they just walk off stage like they can't wait to get of the stage. However, music was great, good energy from the crowd and band.

    Great Show

by ShaelanBowers on 1/15/10Whisky - Hollywood

I've been a fan of Adema for a long time, something about their debut just really caught my attention when I was 18 and I've stuck with them ever since (well at least for the Marky Chavez Mike Ransom years). I was so excited to hear the news that the original lineup had reunited for the first time in about six years, because even though Chavez isn't the most charasmatic or talented lead singer in the game there is something about his raspy unpolished delivery that is simply infectious and moreover the return of Ransom gives the band a much needed shot in the arm that they have been missing since his departure. Im happy to say that the newly reunited band did not dissapoint. Interestingly enough they chose to open with two songs off of "Unstable" the bands second less popular CD but that was a small hickup in an otherwise awesome show. There were a few techincal problems that the band had to deal with (specifically the microphone and amplifier problems that plagued nearly every band in the lineup last night) but outside of that they sounded great and put on a great show. The biggest problem I would say with the show was the audience. Adema tried mostly unsuccessfully the entire show to get the crowd moving and excited. Since it was kind of a sparsly attended concert (which I think can be completely blamed on the lack of promotion) that made it a little harder to accomplish getting the crowd as into the show as the band was. However that didn't effect the level the band performed at.

    Adema is still wicked awesome

by leothelnss on 1/15/10Whisky - Hollywood

They were amazing! The only complaint I had was that they didn't play enough songs! The ones they did play were perfect though. Really takes you back. I hope they'll stick around for a while.
