    Great show

by Chris W on 5/1/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Venue is beautiful. Jorma payed and sang great. Jack is awesome on the bass. Good song selection with them playing some of my favorite Tuna tunes. Hard to believe these 2 still sound so good at their age. Great experience

Hot Tuna at Penn Peak review

by Otoole on 5/1/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Hadn't seen the band in 45+ years. Really enjoyed the show. Pretty good venue to see a concert.

    Pacific bluefin tuna

by HMKDoer on 5/1/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Fantastic, impeccable musicianship, exquisite interplay, great pacing, superb sound system mix. I only knew 3 songs, didn’t matter one bit, Jorma mentioned he was going off script, Jack gave him a raised eyebrow, and went straight into Death Don’t Have no Mercy, unexpected pleasant surprise. My first time seeing either one live, great performance, living legends.

They still got it at 80

by Greg on 5/1/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Jorma & Jack were fantastic. They are true masters of their instruments. I play bass and a little guitar. No one plays bass like Jack. Jorma is a master class at 82 and his vocals haven't changed in 50 years. Their act is the real deal. They haven't lost a step. 4/5 stars because there was a large post in front of our seats. I couldn't see Jack and my wife couldn't see Jorma. Nice venue otherwise. Great sound.

    Good Times

by NJ Cat on 5/1/23Penn's Peak - Jim Thorpe

Old friends following one of our favorite bands...Hot Tuna...never went to a show at Penn's Peak. Great venue...it was raining and windy so we didn't get to really enjoy the observation decks overlooking the Jim Thorpe area as much as we wanted but what a beautiful venue.

You must be a real fan

by Lorenzeni on 12/6/15Landis Theater - Vineland

These guys are great musicians but if you do not know their music it is a long night. I go to about one concert a month and I love music. I can appreciate their talent but I would not go again.

    Good Music, but the Fans???

    by elman123 on 12/6/15Landis Theater - Vineland

We could have had a nice night of acoustic music, but, unfortunately, the night was ruined by obnoxious fans and lack of heat in the venue. It all started when we got to our seats to find someone's personal belongings in them and their owner was no where to be found. Finally, the usher found her and she very reluctantly moved her crap off our seats. She then proceeded to scream, text and ask us to let her in and out of our aisle the entire first set. Add to that the men in front of us talking on their cell phones and another holding his phone up to check the volume of the music, and the event was pretty much ruined. The last straw was the venue must have been about 50 degrees...it was COLD. We left after the first set, it was just unbearable.

    Jorma and Jack AWESOME

by PatMacAdoo on 12/6/15Landis Theater - Vineland

Watching two virtuoso performances on the same stage was an incredible experience. Hot Tuna in whatever form and with either electric or as was the case in this show acoustic instruments is always a joy. This performance was without a doubt the best I've ever witnessed from them. Blues tunes, rock songs, ballads, with unparalleled precision and heart. The Landis Theatre was fantastic as well.
