Great Show--Terrible MC

Sort of set the tone for the entire evening: a little magic and a LOT of nostalgia. Dragged the entire show down. You can't do a tiny die box for an audience of 800! And torn and restored newspaper? For an audience of 800 magicians? Agony! Doesn't matter if these are his signature tricks. The die box "preacher" routine was cute in 1958 in Kansas. Way too dated. Somebody needs to have the integrity to tell him the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes. Get rid of the MC--- let the young guy Collins--or anyone under the age of 90, MC next year.
