Regardless of venue size, these boys always perform as if in front of a stadium crowd. They appreciate the venues with a more intimate setting and enjoy interacting with their audience. They are very willing to stick around after the show and meet their fans whenever possible. I have been to quite a few A Silent Film shows, and I am always impressed with the show and the fans. I definitely recommend their live show for any first timers, you will be hooked!

About
A SILENT FILM IN CONCERT:
English rockers A Silent Film are anything but quiet with their exciting, energy-fueled anthems and rip-roaring live shows. The band’s upbeat music is perfectly suited for their electrifying concerts, where they pump fans up with the love story of "Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well" and chant along with audiences on "Harbour Lights". Their synth-heavy music is bold, uplifting, and sure to have fans dancing all night long on their unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Hailing from England, A Silent Film started out as the band Shouting Myke but renamed themselves in 2005 after a departure in band members and the addition of two newcomers. The group released The Projectionist EP in 2007, but it wasn’t until the 2008 release of their debut album The City That Sleeps that they really broke out. The album was a critical and commercial success and received praise for its catchy rock sound. They followed up in 2012 with Sand and Snow, which featured the narrative song "Danny, Dakota and the Wishing Well" and a more cinematic approach than their previous record. They've served as the opening act for major rock groups like OneRepublic, the Smashing Pumpkins, and the Temper Trap and have gained a steady cult following along the way. On tour A Silent Film always thrills with lively sets of fan favorites.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stellar performance
by FanInLouisiana on 11/21/15House of Blues New Orleans - New OrleansMy first A Silent Film show and I went with very high expectations as I've enjoyed their music for years and watched several performances on YouTube. Their performance EXCEEDED my expectations. Crowd was sparse for a midweek show but the people who were there got LOUD! Band interaction was incredible and they played as though it was to a full arena which solidified what they always said about how important their fans are to them. Following the show they met with everyone who waited and chatted and signed merchandise and posed for photos. Extremely talented gentlemen who have mastered their sound and exude confidence onstage. I will see them live every opportunity I have!
Rating: 5 out of 5 An excellent show from ASF
by elorrain on 11/18/15Masquerade - AtlantaThe only downside of this show was that more people didn't show up to see it. This band is a huge talent that goes largely unappreciated. They still delivered an excellent performance. Go see this band now while you have the chance to see them in small intimate settings.

by LNHI on 11/9/15The Sinclair - CambridgeRun, don't walk, don't dilly dally, don't dither...get to whichever show(s) you can by A Silent Film. The band sounds amazing live, I love their new songs, they are adorable (!!) and most importantly - you have to see them perform Danny, Dakota, and the Wishing Well live. Saw them at The Sinclair in Boston last week and I'm still dancing and smiling!
Rating: 5 out of 5 ASF - Why are they not bigger????
by teachershock on 11/9/15Rough Trade NYC - BrooklynThis band is amazing! They put on the best live show I've ever seen. They connect with their fans from the stage and make you feel like they are singing every song to you. The new members of the band seem to gel well with Robert and Spencer - mad props to Matthew from Houston on some killer lead guitar. Interactive. Fan-friendly. Lyrics that feel like they have come from your own head. LOVE THIS BAND!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Flagship/Silent Film
by psurick75 on 11/4/15Bowery Ballroom - New YorkFlagship is an upstart band from Charlotte and put on a great opening set, keep an eye on them in the future. Always been a big fan of A Silent Film and now as a duo with some studio musicians they really sound great. Never understood why they aren't more popular.
Rating: 5 out of 5 A Silent Film - So not a Film!
by ASFfanMimiB on 10/30/15The Shelter - DetroitMany people seemed confused by their name, but A Silent Film is a tremendously talented band from England comprised of Robert Stevenson and Spencer Walker. They have a wide array of music in their catalog. I have yet to attend a show and witness somebody who walks away disappointed. They are extremely hard working, energetic and very focused on showing their fans just how much they appreciate their support. Go to a show. Meet them. Meet their fans.
