    Uplifting and Cheerful

    What a wonderful way to spend an evening! The Leahy family is extraordinarily gifted. Their music is cheerful and hip, nothing corny in the show at all, just overflowing talent from a family full of musicians, dancers and singers. Every year I go to Broadway for a show, but decided to stay local this year due to the prices and crowds. Looking through Bergen PAC's X-mas shows I thought I would take a chance on the Leahy's and we are so glad we did. They are Broadway, but better, full of freshness, vitality and impromptu! Daniel can make his violin sing with beauty and Denise's voice is lovely and bold. The sister that is the piano player is unbelievably good as well as the two other sisters - one is the family's lead step dancer, the other the base guitar player. I loved the two violin playing brothers as well as the drummer brother...yes it's true they all star in one area but can move to another instrument and sing and dance too. Truly a sight and sound to see and hear. Enjoy!
