Sheila E was amazing!!!!!! She was just as awesome as she was back in the day.... I absolutely love love loved the performance. It was straight from the heart....and when she cried after receiving a standing ovation...it was heart warming and real...
ANTHONY HAMILTON SHOWED A PLAYFUL FUNNY SIDE THAT I DIDN'T KNOW HE HAD. I ALWAYS PICTURE HIM AS COOL AND LAID BACK BUT I SAW THAT HE IS SOOO MUCH MORE THAN THAT. THE SHOW WAS SOOO WONDERFUL AND I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE ANY OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HIM AGAIN. DAVE HOLLISTER AND CARL THOMAS WERE GREAT ALSO. THEY SHOWED A SWEET HUMAN SIDE TO THEM AND THEIR VOICES WERE STILL GREAT. HOWEVER, MY GOAL WAS TO SEE ANTHONY AND ANTHONY DEFINITELY DELIVERED!!!! AND THE SEXY SIDE OF ANTHONY WAS UNDESCRIBABLE...OMG...WOW... AND I MUST SAY THAT ANTHONY SANG EVERY SONG THAT I WANTED TO HEAR!!!!
Carl Thomas was first up and took me back to when he made the album - delicious. Dave Hollister sounded great, but failed to sing my favorite song - "My Favorite Girl". Now Anthony Hamilton tore it up. I'm not even a big fan of his, but I'll be getting his latest cd. He had so much energy and even walked in the crowd to connect with the fans. I just love when artists do that.
This concert was absolutely awesome!!! Carl, Dave and Anthony truly rocked the house!!
We had seats in Section 22, "Row F- seat #3 for me" so the speakers impaired our ability to visualize the entire stage, that was sooo not good. The seating charts did not adequately or accurately display what you would actually be looking at, so I did not feel like I payed for the 'best available' seating. On the other hand, I was able to see Brady James the entire time..and I don't know.... something about a man in white linen pants and flip flops or 'Louie boat shoes' as Jay Z would say, just really made me feel like a little kid...I guess at the candy store. O.k. so good seating bad seating...you be the judge. The sound system was also not good from where I was sitting, the voices were muffled. I never heard any of the jokes from the comedian. However, the concert part...was good. I love Anthony Hamilton, so he far exceeded my expectations. I would travel to the moon to see him perform, he absolutely does a great show. Thanks Brady, you know ...for being such good eye candy and for the show.
Overall concert was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Comedian funny too. Anthony was the best.
This show was absolutely the best concert I have been to in Monroe. All of the artists were awesome! This is my 3rd Anthony Hamilton concert and he showed up and out with his energetic performance. Brady James did an awesome job organizing and I can't wait to see what he has planned for next time!
This concert was awesome. David Hollister has a God sent voice. Anthony Hamilton knows how to put on a show. He interacted with the crowd, literally. He is unbelievable.
This event was incredible... I had a really good time....
Myself and a friend drove from Tulsa Oklahoma to Monroe to see this concert! It was totally worth the drive and exhaustion of a weekend trip with no rest. Carl Thomas performance was great! Dave Hollister was spectular! the icing on the cake DEFINITELY had to be Anthony Hamilton!!! Now the decoration on top of the cake would have to be the comedian. He started the event and ended it with laughter. I hope to see him in more performances.
