Overall a great experience, dissappointed by no-shows

by Dave on 10/18/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I went for all (3) days of the show and it was a great experience. I took my 15 year old son with me and we stayed at a motel in Auburn. The bands that performed were simple amazing, it was an experience I won't soon forget, and my son is especially feeling that! I was very disappointed that both The Struts and Glorious Sons did not show. I learned later that The Struts drummer was likely attending Taylor Hawkin's memorial concert, but it would have been nice for KISW to provide real time update on who's playing, and who's not. We will likely make another trek out next year, but all (3) days is a bit too much for both of us.

    Sublime was Rad!

by Mandie on 9/15/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

We saw Sublime with Rome on Fridays and they killed it! Saturday we saw Alice in Chains, I've never really been impressed by them

    Sammy Hagar/George Thorogood concert

    by R. H. on 9/14/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

The bands we saw were great however there were a couple bands that cancelled and a company like Live Nation should have found stand ins. Otherwise we enjoyed the show. The VIP experience was no VIP and I will not likely spend that much again. I did appreciate the chance to upgrade and wee were able to get much closer than our original tickets

    Great time

by Pixi on 9/13/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

I went Saturday and Sunday, and had a blast! I will say, i was upset that Wyatt Olney and the Wreckage went on super early on Saturday. I basically came to see him perform, i was able to catch the last 2 or 3 songs and he was done. I got to meet the KISW crew on Saturday at the after party, it is nice to put faces with the voice. Sunday, i had great time and just hanging out with friends. So, yeah good times!

Great Music! Difficulties with AIC VIP Package

by Kelly P on 9/12/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

We saw incubus and Rome with sublime on the Friday night date and they were awesome! I am a little disappointed that several of the smaller local bands did not show up to play so there was quite a bit of confusion as to what time we actually needed to be there to see the bands and I believe that many people were there way too early since about four bands canceled. It would have improved my experience if we didn’t have to ride there so early and wait for live music. It would’ve been a simple solution to send out an email to those that had tickets that some of the bands would not be participating as indicated when we purchased tickets and informing us of the new open door timeframe and start of concert. We bought passes for the VIP Alice In Chains which occurred on Saturday and we were stuck on traffic so by the time we got there there was no VIP entry any longer and we had to stand and extremely long line just to gain entry. Going forward, it would be helpful if VIPs can enter at any time since we paid for that privilege. Also there has been no special tour digital content from Alice In Chains as promised and also there was no merchandise from Barkhouse that was supposed to be a part of the package available. All in all I was very disappointed with the VIP package and I don’t think that I would purchase that again going forward

    Pain in the Grass 2022

by Shanna on 9/9/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Was a great show, the only issues we had were making sure we got in the right line for the fast lane entry and that the theater seating didn’t open until 3 hours after we got through the gates. The concert was fantastic & we had a great time at the show. Thanks KISW for a great concert!

    Pain in the Grass

by JE on 9/8/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

Saturdays show was awsome and the bands were great. Only complaint was that lines were so long at Merch stand that by the time I was able to try to buy anything they no longer had the AIC Jacket that I wanted which was disappointing. Sundays lineup was great but they were out of EVERYTHING. Only soda available was Mt. Dew or Pepsi. Food was stale and terrible. We were at the Merch stand within 30 minutes of the gates opening and they were out of almost everything. Only had XXl sizes or small in 90% of the options. Needless to say I would have spent money on Merch both days but ended up with a t-shirt on Sunday that I didn't really want.

    A Lil Disappointed

by AliCat on 9/8/22White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

First off I have too say I was so excited that Pain in the Grass had returned after being gone for a couple years. My daughter and I have been going for probably 10 years now. Some great music and great vibes were much needed. But if I'm being honest we were a little disappointed, not with the bands but with the sound system. We actually ended up leaving early Friday and Saturday because of the sound system issues. I'm not sure what was going on but the sound was so off on quite a few of the bands. I understand that things have been shut down for a while and maybe the venue is still getting back into the swing of things but damn man it was bad. What's really disappointing is I've seen a few of these bands before so I know how great they can be live. Will definitely return for more music but hoping sound is better next time.
