Great Night
by Jonah on 1/10/24Some really good tune up acts, except the ex-con, he just seemed angry…😂. Thank God for Breaking Benjamin, they headlined and it showed…🤘

My first and last 98 Rockfest. The only band that had a great sound and performance was Falling in Reverse. All others sound awful. Very noisy and we couldn’t even figure out which music they were playing. I’ve been at Amelie Arena multiple times, have seen Iron Maiden, 5FDP and other bands and it was never like this. Disappointing.
This was my first concert since the covid lockdowns, and I really, really, really missed it. Every artist was phenomenal. Their performance, their energy, everything. I missed the kindred spirits of my fellow rockers in the pits. It's a energy not many have and I won't be missing out any longer. Here to the 2023 rock season!
Beartooth should have been the main event would have stayed longer, and missed the acoustic event because no one knew where to go. all I got is 100 dollars of snacks which it was quite the disappointment.
My family and I attended the show and it was pretty awful. The sound was way off for most of the bands, except falling in reverse who was litterally the star of the show. We were NOT impressed at ALL.
This was my first experience at 98 ROCKFEST, and I will definitely be back! This year's line-up was so impressive. The outside bands (Dropout Kings, Fame on Fire, and Dorothy) blew me away. Their pre-shows pumped up the crowd. These bands were full of energy and so happy to be performing for us. There were a lot of booths to visit and even a cool 360 video experience. Inside there were lots of band t-shirts to choose from and the 98 Rock hosts provided entertainment between each of the sets. Bad Wolves and Beartooth rocked. We came to see Falling in Reverse and they did not disappoint. Everyone in the crowd was on their feet, singing along with their old and new songs. They really stole the show! It was a fantastic night and I can't wait to see next year's line up. Thank you 98 Rock for an amazing experience seeing all of these bands!!
Overall great experience! Entry into venue was smooth and flowed well. Venue is large and a little confusing to those who may not frequent it. Venue very clean and staff fairly friendly. Like every other venue food and drink prices are ridiculous. Bands were Awesome! Sadly our section was DEAD... Sad at a Rock show.... This was our third 98 Rockfest and we are Looking forward to next years event!!
98ROCKFEST this year was fun but not the best 98ROCKFEST I have been to. The acoustics were off and it felt a little more like heavy metal than rock. We would go again but only if we were excited about the bands playing.
98 Rockfest 2023 was AMAZING! There was only one thing I'd change: put The Pretty Reckless in the pre-show and move Dorothy to the main roster and stage! Other than that, everything was beyond stellar and such a great way to ring in my 40th bday celebration and start to a new decade of age and experience!
This was my 2nd year going to Rockfest and the first year I totally skipped EDBD (in Orlando). Rockfest is superior by far because you are indoors, have the option for a seat if you prefer, and you don't have to wait in a line to buy a stupid ticket to go wait in another line to buy food and drink. Overall, the lines for food and drink were almost non-existent and I was able to get items with plenty of time to get back to my seat in between sets. The bathroom lines were long as expected, but moved quickly. I was able to enter the facility relatively quickly too, but there did seem to be a long line for those entering the pit level. Overall great show! I'll be attending Rockfest > EDBD from now on. Biggest complaint is that I was actually cold, so I'll wear a sweatshirt next year.
