    Great Value

by CultofPersonality86 on 7/20/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

While the sound was less than stellar at times and the heat was intense, you really can't beat $10 a ticket for a lawn seat.

    weenie roast

by stephrocks on 7/18/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

Blue October and Shinedown were good. Crowd was very questionable, tickets were cheap. More misting areas needed.

    Awesome!

by AngGonz on 7/18/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

Even though it was hot as heck outside, the show was one of the best. I was happy that they rented out the chairs at this event because they usually do not.

Meg Myers was HOT in more ways than one

by ChrisO382 on 7/16/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

The day started with a guy that was the American master of carving ice who shaved away at some blocked of ice with various chainsaws/tools to create a land bird of some sort out of the ice. Professor butters or something...he was pretty cool (literally) because it was hot as all get out and his entourage kept spraying water on us and throwing the shaved ice...Nothing More was on stage while all that was going on but I had little interest in checking them out...got to the main stage and met up with someone there when X Ambassadors came on...they have that one song "renegade(s)" that plays on that car commercial...outside of that, none of the music was recognizable and they were pretty much a snooze fest..typical maroon 5 type music that 94.5 the buzz likes to play from time to time and pass it off as "alternative" but is really just adult contemporary pop that belongs on a mix station at best...THEN everything changed for the better! My eyes were introduced to a beautiful female singer by the name of MEG MYERS!!! Her band and her put on an awesome show and she gained quite a few new fans I would have to believe with her performance that day. After her was Blue October who put on a really amazing show that I was not expecting. I was fairly lukewarm on them prior to their set. I liked the singles and they are hometown boys....their set and the lead singer's lyrics tugged at my heart...very good artists and they may possibly have gained a fan for life. Shinedown I was seeing for the umpteenth time and as usual, they were amazing!

Sound issues in the lawn - again.

by kev25811 on 7/16/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

Truth be told, this event could have been amazing, but this is the third time in recent memory that the Woodlands Pavilion has managed to have the speakers in the lawn drop in and out during the main act. There were so many moments where Shinedown was just killing it on stage, but the lawn could barely hear it, but then when the soft verse comes in the speakers come back on and it's 3 times as loud. This has been a constant problem there since the hurricane that damaged it, and I've pretty much given up at this point. I will likely never go back and will recommend people away from it until i hear that they have solved this problem. On a separate note, Blue October was just incredible.

    Shinedown!!!

by Orngejuice on 7/15/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

Amazing, but if you have actual seats, you have to print out your tickets. You can only use the phone tickets with lawn seats.

by JenWild627 on 7/15/15The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion presented by Huntsman - Woodlands

Blue October was amazing! I wish they would have sang longer. Shinedown was good as well but I paid to see Blue October.
