by HAM49 on 6/15/13Meadow Brook Theatre - RochesterMy husband and I are avid theater-goers and enjoy live stage productions immensely. We took a guest to this Meadowbrook event and wish we had not. It is the second stage play that has disappointed us greatly, the first being "Life is but a Dream". Whether the cast was not able to work with the director, or there were too few rehearsals, the cast was disorganized on stage, missing lines and placement on stage, the timing was totally off, and the comedic portions totally overplayed. With the caliber of performances at Stagecrafters, Hilberry, Purple Rose, The Ringwald and Matrix Theatres, we will not be attending Meadowbrook Theatre productions.

by PP12345 on 6/4/13Meadow Brook Theatre - RochesterThough the players were very talented, I found the story line mediocre at best. This performance was not funny as a comedy should be. We couldn't understand the vocals as sung except for the lead, Ida. This play seemed out dated by today's standards, the laughs were few and far between. I would not recommend this play to friends.
