The plot is a caricature of the books, and not a particularly deep one, with an uninteresting framing story. The music is decent and the dancing frequently good, but overall I was just waiting for it to end. None of the characters interested me. What's more, the treatment of BDSM was at best sarcastic and at worst insulting. It was very much a "those weirdos" presentation of it, at least the little of it that was involved. If you can, go see "Spank" instead. Much better story, characters, and music.

by andja10 on 1/21/15Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - ChicagoThis parody is so much fun! We had amazing time. I went with two girlfriends and muscles in our faces hurt from laughing. Also, perfect length. Not to long, just over an hour. There's a little, just enough, interaction with the audience, and I loved it.
