I might have liked the concert more if I hadn't spent the extra money for a VIP upgrade. The bands were pretty good - Godsmack completely owned the stage and showed everyone else how it was done and Avenged Sevenfold was also amazing. But the seats for VIP were further away than all the general admission seats. I knew the number would be limited, but there were about 20 total seats and it seemed like at least a hundred VIPs. On Saturday, no one could tell us how to get our laminates, collectable tickets or t-shirts. Everyone we asked had a different answer, including the management of the place. Then, on Sunday, we got our stuff but by then almost all the larger sizes of t-shirts were sold out so we still didn't get everything we expected. The drinks were a little cheaper in the VIP tent, but not enough to make it worth the extra price. They could have at least elevated the VIP area. Or if that wasn't possible, not having a big black barrier between the VIP area and the stage would have helped - you couldn't see the stage from most of the places in the VIP area. Overall, the upgrade to VIP was a complete waste of money and I'd never do it again.
