About

2PM IN CONCERT:

K-pop sensation 2PM is thrilling audiences around the world with their futuristic sound, muscular dancing, and polished visual image. They've been superstars in South Korea ever since breaking out in 2008 with their debut hit "10 Out of 10", and their pitch-perfect harmonies and tightly choreographed live shows have them well on their way to global fame. Whether they're busting out a razor-sharp dance sequence to high-energy cuts like  "Again & Again" or waxing romantic on favorites like "Comeback When You Hear This Song", 2PM never fail to impress with their energy and showmanship while on tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

2PM was born out of the Korean idol industry, a highly competitive system in which talent agencies train and groom potential stars to vie for membership in mass-marketed pop groups. The group's initial incarnation was formed through a highly competitive televised auditions process that whittled potential candidates down to an eleven-member group called One Day. Shortly after its formation the group split into two smaller acts -- 2PM and 2AM -- with both groups going on to attain considerable commercial success. 2PM scored their first hit in 2008 with the debut single "10 Out of 10". Since then, they've topped the Korean charts with 3 albums, topped the Japanese charts with 2 Japanese-language albums, and released an extensive string of chart-topping singles in both countries. Known for their bad-boy image and acrobatic dancing, 2PM have become a renowned live act with an ever-growing fanbase. They always wow ticket buyers with their slick pop hits, stunning choreography, and elaborate stage design every time they tour.

    @PM is energetic, tireless, charismatic.

    by QASMS on 12/5/14Shrine Auditorium - Los Angeles

    2PM Go Crazy concert in Los Angeles was my fist K-POP concert, and I enjoyed it immensely. I dragged my sister along for company, and she became a 2PM convert instantly. The audience was screaming with excitement and anticipation before 2PM even entered the stage, and it did not let up for two and one-half hours. No one was seated for the duration of the concert. I joined in with the audience as they sang along with 2PM. I never screamed so much. The 2PM men are charismatic, interpersonal, charming, tireless, innovative, energetic and humorous. The audience must have been 90% female, 10% male, and the age demographic spanned from teens to 60s. My sister and I were among numerous non-Korean audience members, but 2PM broke down the language barrier, speaking English and charming us with their sense of humor. As each 2PM member introduced himself, the crowd roared (screamed) louder. I knew that Taecyeon, Nichkhyun and Jun-K were popular, but the audience went wild as Wooyoung, Chansung and Junho made their introductions. Go Crazy song is the equivalent of lightning. 2PM invented a brilliant, unique song and dance routine. Their fast paced club/dance/electronica, etc.. songs are catchy, and the slow paced ballads are sentimental. I was humming Go Crazy and Hands Up for 24 hours.

    GO CRAZY I Did!

    by hellosurely on 12/1/14Shrine Auditorium - Los Angeles

    To be honest, I was not expecting such an amazing concert. 2PM has been one of my favorite bands for the past few years. Although I have matured out of my KPOP stage, I couldn't miss the chance on seeing them at least once. The concert had a great build up and was fun and exciting all throughout. The members definitely knew how to pump up the crowd (Props to them and their crazy dances. I have no idea how they could jump and move around like that for so long). I had the workout of my life and did not sit down throughout the entire concert. The venue was really small, but I liked it that way because the concert felt more intimate and genuine. I had Orchestra I seats, so I got a great view of the show. Overall, the concert was very enjoyable - one of the most memorable nights of my life. I felt sincerity and determination from all the members. It's great to see idols pay back their fans and show how much they appreciate their support. Great concert. I will definitely go to their next world tour!

    Loved 2PM's performance, theyre a WORLD CLASS ACT!

    by Gabrielas2PM on 11/27/14Shrine Auditorium - Los Angeles

    The members of 2PM are so nice, talented and approachable. Videos online do not make their live performances justice. I have been to many KPOP concerts and no other group I have seen is on the level of 2PM okay maybe SuperJunior. But, when 2PM says they are a world class act it is true. The performance of the songs are flawless, the setlist well thought out, the artists are kind, entertaining and clearly happy to be on stage. There is also lots of fan interaction, they did an encore because the crowd would not stop cheering for them and took pictures from the stage with everyone they could reach. I believe the concert ran for 3 hours, I have never been to a kpop concert that ran this long it was amazing. There were also changes of set, of wardrobe and videos that complimented the songs. About the members: Jun k voice is a force to be reckoned with live, Chansung is beautiful with clothes and without them and Junho is super funny and entertaining and loved the rest of the members too: Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Nickhun they are all so nice, great dancers, great singers and their English is better and better every time they come to the USA. I will definitely go see 2PM when they come back again.
