    Allstar lineup making history

by NJRayz on 12/18/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Just amazing. The Stones were the only real disappointment. The Who and Alicia Keys were the best.

    Absolutely the BEST!!!

by LisaWW on 12/17/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Was a fantastic concert for a great cause. Was already in NYC on vacation and lucky enough to get a ticket. Enjoyed everyone but Kanye West. The "oldies" were still goodies. Glad to have been a part of this once in a lifetime event!

Geat Show for a Great Cause!

by knickchic on 12/15/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Since I was personally affected by the devastation of Sandy this concert was particularly meaningful for me. To see such a collection of talent on one night on one stage and knowing that all the $ was going to Sandy relief was fantastic. It was great to see the The Who even though I had seen them last week and the Stones who I went to see the next night as well as Billy Joel and surprise guest Michael Stipe who I hadn't seen live in several years. Seeing Paul McCartney and the Fire Fighters together on stage at the end bought back memories of the Concert for New York, the last event for charity that I had attended at MSG. The 6 hours passed in a flash and the show was flawlessly produced. Truly a memorable night.

This concert was definitely the Woodstock of our generation. Never again will you see all the legends of rock n roll on the stage in one evening.

    12-12-12 concert

by Anonymous on 12/15/12Madison Square Garden - New York

The most amazing night hard to describe the feeling of being there .The whole event was done so well. Many of the Heroes of Sandy were honored appropriately throughout the night As far as the music and talent was incredible. I would have liked the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton to play more Kanye West to play much less and not in a skirt . Adam Sandler hysterical drunk uncle skit not. The telethon stars were great Still processing what I experienced so many unbelievable moments from start to finish

What is there left to say?

by FrankieBeatlette on 12/14/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Ok. Imagine you are sitting in an arena. The lights go down. Bruce Springsteen appears. Then Roger Waters with Eddie Vedder. Bon Jovi. Alicia Keys. Eric Clapton. The Rolling Stones. The Who. Billy Joel. Paul McCartney, who reunites the surviving members of Nirvana and shreds it. Throw in Kanye, Chris Martin, a very funny Adam Sandler, an annoyingly inappropriate Brian Williams (who cares?) Sounds like one of those weird dreams you struggle to remember the next morning because it must mean something monumental. It was. And it did. And I was there.

Concert was once in a lifetime

by novicaine18 on 12/14/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Music, sound, lighting and staging was unreal. Stones, 2 songs? Kanye - 45 minutes? Please. Bands were all legends. I am huge Bruce fanatic but Waters was the best.

    Concert event of a lifetime

by TommyKtheDJ on 12/14/12Madison Square Garden - New York

Perhaps after only Woodstock, I think this will go down as the single-greatest musical event of all-time. The lineup of artists was absurd. Although it won't be considered as such, for me, on a personal level, I'd put it higher than Woodstock. No, I did not attend Woodstock (as it took place 10 years before I was born), but it was a one-evening, indoor event. Not three days in the open air. Also, not for hundreds of thousands to flock to... it was relatively intimate with only about 15,000 people in attendance although billions watched worldwide. It was an evening I'll never forget!

    Bruce Springsteen/BonJovi performance was rivating

by ALGS on 12/14/12Madison Square Garden - New York

What a scintillating night. So exciting to see all those older English rockers looking so good. Plus their voices were still strong and uplifting. They were great. Roger Waters with Eddie Vedder. Bruce & Jon. Chris Martin & Micheal Stipe. Sir Paul & Alicia Keys. This is by far the greatest and most heartfelt concert I ever went to. Also the most expensive but my boyfriend and I both agreed it was a $1000 well spent. We live in NJ and he was also born and raised in NJ and loves the shore so this was our contribution to re-building our beautiful state.

    Once in a lifetime experience

by jmogull on 12/14/12Madison Square Garden - New York

I feel very lucky that I attended this event. I've never been more proud of NY or MSG in the over 40 years I've gone to events there.
