Darwin’s Smile is a very unique theater experience. Isabella Rossellini presents a vivid potpourri of performance art. She uses personal experiences to entertain and inform. Her excellent acting shines through, as do her knowledge, intelligence and sincerity. This experience was transforming. I wish it had not been a one night stand. There should definitely be more performances of this unforgettable experience!

A very engaging and illuminating session with a favorite professor. The presentation was entertaining and drew you in with humor and warmth. The importance of recognizing empathy in the animal world, and especially in our human interactions are highlighted with witty ideas and examples . Maestra Rossellini is wise and shares her enthusiasm and joy of discovery in our amazing world and its inhabitants.

I didn’t find it all that entertaining, actually a bit strange and boring. Wasn’t sure what to expect, I guess I’m not sophisticated enough for such. My girlfriend was somewhat razzle dazzled .I’d skip it if I were to do it over.

It was an evening I will hold close to my heart forever. She was beautiful, eloquent, funny, educational and so much more. She’s been one of my favorite actresses for many many years and was a true blessing to see her talented self so close and personal! Thank you Isabella ❤️❤️

I went all over from Italy to Durham just to see this show. From her famous short videos called Green Porno you might think that this live show is all about making jokes about animals sexuality. This is just the beginning, with her impersonating animals. But there s also a little scientific part that you couldn't aspect, and, above all, philosophy and poetry. This live show is much more than you ve seen in her shorts films. Important meanings has the talking about gender. Her grace, her style, her amazing accent are still the same, and her beauty as well. Before you see it, i recommend to read her biography "Some of me" which will explain to you her way to think, and allow you to understand the beautiful ending scene of this extraordinary show.

What a show. Actually had fun learning! Laughed a lot. If I had teachers like Isabella, I would have had so much fun learning about other species.
